YMCA membership has its privileges. Discounts on all YMCA programs as well as use of our entire facility (age requirements posted). Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person at least 16 years of age.

Membership Rates

Family $52.00
Up to two adults and dependent children living in the same household. "Dependent" implies tax dependent, blood relative or dependent child through marriage. Verification of address may be required.

Adult $36.00
An adult membership is for men and women ages 26 and older.

Senior $28.00 
Senior Adult memberships are for men and women 65 years or older.

Teen (12 - 18 yr) $17.00
Memberships for boys and girls 12 to 18 years of age. A parent or legal guardian must sign all youth membership applications. Those younger than 12 years of age will not be permitted into a YMCA without a member 16 years or older.

The SilverSneakers Fitness Program offers older adults free membership (with participating insurance companies) to the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA and access to group exercise classes that focus on improving strength, flexibility and coordination. Young Adult $25.00
An young adult membership is for men and women ages 19 to 25.

Methods of Payment
Electronic Funds Transfer: Pay as you go! Your bank account or credit card is debited once per month.
Annual Payment: Dues may be paid in full upon joining and yearly thereafter. Annual membership is 12 times the monthly fee.  Payment is accepted via cash, check or credit card. All checks and electronic fund transfers will be assessed a $25 fee if returned. 

Financial Assistance 
The YMCA recognizes the need to serve all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay the full cost of a membership or program fee. Financial assistance is available for those who demonstrate financial need based on household income and number of dependents. Assistance is available for membership and programs. Applications may be picked up at the Y. Please return the completed application and requested documentation to the branch you will be using. Application processing takes 10 days after the Y receives the completed application.


Adult and Youth Orientation
Make a free appointment with our Health and Wellness Director who will gladly show you how to use the weight and cardio equipment in the Fitness Center. All youth 10-13 must be oriented to the youth equipment prior to use.

Program Registration
Registration schedules are available at the front desk or on our online calendar.  Priority registration is given to all members.  Members are only allowed to sign up themselves during priority registration. 

Refunding Program Fees
If the YMCA cancels a class, members will be given a full refund. If you cancel prior to the start of the program you will receive a refund less the cost of a t-shirt, etc. and/or will receive a full refund for medical/family emergency reasons. No refunds will be given after the program starts. Individuals that miss a class for medical reasons can make up classes when space is available. A $5 processing fee may be charged for refunds.

Transferring, Changing or Canceling Your Membership
Your current membership may be transferable to another Y.  To transfer, change or cancel your membership please provide a minimum of 30 days written notice prior to your next bank draft. If canceling or transferring your membership please return your membership card.

Membership Hold Procedures
Your Y membership may be placed on hold for a minimum of 1 month and maximum of 6 months during any calendar year if you are not able to use our facility due to health reasons. Hold forms are available at the front desk. Membership holds require a minimum of 30 days prior to your next bank draft.

This free service is available to members for up to 2 hours for infants through 11 years of age. (For Saturdays please call 24 hours in advance.)

Away Program
When you join a YMCA, you become a part of a national move­ment of more than 2,400 Y’s. You may be allowed to use a YMCA while you are visiting an area. Please call the YMCA you will be visiting to learn about their guest policies. You may also call 800-333-9622 or visit www.ymca.net to learn more.

Guest Policy
Y members beyond a 50 mile radius may use our Y up to 5 times a month at no cost. Y members within a 50 mile radius will be charged $3 per visit. Out of town guests, 16 years or older, who aren’t Y members may use our Y by paying $5 per visit. A visiting family will be charged $15.

Data Security Standards

The Paris-Bourbon County YMCA is committed to providing the highest level of security to members. Personal information, payment information and other data transmitted through our system are encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption technology.

Membership Waiver

The Paris-Bourbon County YMCA is a charitable, non-profit membership organization. I understand the YMCA will have no liability or responsibility for any personal injuries, or loss or damage to personal property, sustained by the member(s) while using the YMCA facilities. I understand membership card(s) must be presented to enter the facility. Loaning membership cards to another individual is prohibited and will subject member(s) to loss of membership privileges.
Memberships are not transferable. I understand if my membership lapses for 30 days or more, joining fees, in addition to membership dues and any and all outstanding balances will be assessed upon rejoining.
As a member of the YMCA you are agreeing to follow the policies, procedures, and appropriate behaviors of the safety and comfort of all members and guests.
I have read and understand the Membership Waiver. In addition I understand and agree that the conditions of the Membership Waiver are in effect throughout my entire membership with the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA.

Credit Card Authorization

I give authority to have pre-authorized payments drawn by the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA on my credit card for membership payments. Membership dues paid by credit card are continuous and can be cancelled only by submitting a YMCA cancellations form (available at the YMCA front desk) AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHARGE DATE. Please check your credit card statement to make sure your account is not charged after the effective termination date. The YMCA Board of Directors may, at its discretion, adjust the monthly rate applicable to my category of membership. I understand that I will receive at least four-weeks notice prior to any such change. Should my credit card institution for any reason not honor my membership charges, I understand that I am still responsible for that payment, plus any service charge applied by the YMCA. This is in addition to any service fee my credit card institution may charge.

Photo/Talent Release 

I hereby irrevocably release, consent and allow the YMCA of Central Kentucky and its agents to use my photograph/likeness/voice, as it pertains to my participation with the Y, in any manner for promotion efforts without expectation of any reimbursement in connection with its use.
